About Me...

My name is Leiya M. Silveira, I am 12 years old and I am in 6th grade at the Eliot Innovative School.   I love to dance, paint, play softball, drawing, singing, acting  and playing with my friends. My mom keeps me very active and I love it.  

I was born in Boston, living with my mom and my grandmother.  I am fearless and love to be around people and animals.  I have a big heart and always supporting my mom's work by attending her meetings and help her with  fundraisers to support those in needs.

For the past few years,  I raised money to buy school supplies to bring to the children in Haiti and in Puerto Rico. One of my favorite things to do is dancing,  I participated in the Nutcracker with Jose Mateo for few years as a mouse, and angel and now, I am in pointe shoes which is exciting and I can not wait to perform on them.   My goal is to be Clara in the Nutcracker.

I had the opportunity to sing with Boston Children Choir for few years, I participated in numerous fashion show such with AMW, House of Nadhra, East Coast Pageant and recently with Edna Couture.  My last project was acting in the movie "Empresyon" by Patrick Jerome.  Now, I sing with my school chorus where we sign throughout of Boston for the Governor  and the Mayor.

I love arts, regardless of the process,  as part of my business, I create cool bookmarks to help others to read more and also help me support those in needs in some ways. 

One thing that I want people to know about me that I am Dyslexic and has ADHD, which I share with others in orders.  My mother advocates for me and also support me in my art to make sure I do not miss on anything.

Lately, I start working on stain glass paint and doing cartoon characters.  I can not wait to share them with you.

As my mom always tell me, "The sky is the limit" as long that I put my mind and heart to it and always do your best.
